I first heard from Paul and Emma when I received an email from them asking if I was available for their Wedding. Now that doesn’t sound strange does it? After all I am a Wedding photographer. The difference was I was actually photographing another Wedding at the time and was having a break whilst all the guests was enjoying the wedding breakfast and something just told me to check my emails which I’m so glad I did. I replied and said I would give them a call later when I was free. Now it turns out that they was getting married later that year and their photographer had let them down and double booked. Now I’m not going to go on about that photographer but what was their loss was my gain because I had a blast at Paul and Emma’s wedding.
We arranged to meet the next day at their wedding venue The Holiday Inn Haydock near Wigan which was good as I like the coffee they serve ( it wasn’t the only reason honest) With in 5 minuets of talking I could tell that we was going to get a long just well. The importance of a couple getting on with their Wedding Photographer can not be underestimated after all the photographer is going to be with you more than any other of your Wedding suppliers in fact longer than some guests. Take a look at my free download guide which should help you chose your photographer or in fact any of your suppliers on your day.
Navy , Army and Royal Air force all sat in a bar – Sound like a start to a joke doesn’t it .As we talked about the finer details of their day I realised that we was covering the three forces between us. I was Ex Navy and between them Army and Royal Air force was covered.
Paul and Emma had to return by to Northumberland as they was moving into a new house so everything we did had to be over email or phone calls. That’s the good thing with technology these days , there is always a way to keep in touch.
Thank you Paul and Emma for inviting me to capture your Wedding Day .
